Fat, both butter and ghee are used in the recipe, if vegan, go for vegan butter/ghee. I made these this weekend…they were AMAZING! These balls are an excellent source of protein and energy.

Mix well and make balls out of the mixture. The only ingredient that seems to need refrigeration is the flax.

Glad I stumbled upon this recipe and tried it by using what I had on hand. Walnuts not almonds. This recipe is a keeper! When combined, it produces a soft, gooey, fudge-like texture. (Please keep in mind that I haven’t tried them with these tweaks.) Did you by any chance make any substitutions?
